Access Statement

Introduction

Church House is a Georgian former Rectory situated in the peaceful village of Kewstoke which is approximately 2.5 miles from Weston super Mare. We overlook the peaceful long sandy beach of Sand Bay. The following statement is a summary of our provision, if you have any questions please feel free to contact us where we will try our best to assist.

Pre Arrival

We are situated 5 mins from the M5 Jct 21.
The nearest train station is Worle which is also a 5 minute drive from us.
There is a bus stop at the top of our drive which connects to Weston-super-Mare – Service 100 Crosville Buses.

Arrival & Car Parking

We are situated immediately next to St Paul’s Church in Kewstoke, there is a little driveway to the left of the church, between the church and the church hall, take this driveway, that is our entrance.
You can stop right outside our front door to offload your bags.
We have a car park which holds 5 cars, to access this just carry on driving past our front door down the slope.
There is a moderately steep slope from the car park up to the front door, alternatively there are steps up from the car park.
We are more than happy to help you with your luggage.

Main Entrance & Hallway

We have a wide front door (3ft) with an inner door (3’1”) into the hallway which provides access in to the dining room and conservatory. There is flat access to the dining room through a 31” doorway and then a 3” lip into the conservatory.

Stairs

We have 17 stairs, each step is 6” high x 11” deep, leading to the first floor where our Superior Double ‘Knightstone’ is situated. Here there is a fairly large landing.
Leading on up to the second floor where the remaining rooms are situated are 14 stairs.

Outdoor facilities

We have a front lawn for your use with sea views and several seating areas and wonderful sunset views (summertime). The lawn can be accessed either from the driveway or from the conservatory. We please ask that guests with dogs don’t exercise them on this lawn. We have space in our garage to leave bikes etc overnight if required.

Additional Info

Church House is a ‘No Smoking’ household, however smoking is permitted outside.
Dogs are accepted except in our Superior Double, please advise us when booking if you are bringing a dog.
